Whilst looking through web sites or locksmith adverts you will undoubtedly come across the quote
“Police approved”
This basically means that the locksmith in question has had a CRB check done (criminal records Bureau)
Which is a certificate that lists any criminal convictions (if any) which employers or agencies usually require and are requested to only employ those who have a clean CRB when working with vulnerable adults/ the elderly /children and certain security jobs
We have clean CRB checks.
Warwickshire/West midlands and Leicestershire police do not employ locksmiths.
And generally they do not recommend any one for obvious reasons.
You will be hard pressed to find another locksmith company in our area/region that could prove ones worth with images like we have below.

One point also worth considering when appointing a locksmith
Lee Clements trains and advises the police and relevant home office sectors on method
of entry and covert entry techniques
Say no more!
Apart from you’re in good hands
